Emily Maddison
Based on results to end of July 2010, 15-year-old Emily Maddison, graduate of ABRS karting, earned top female driver in the junior Rotax category in Canada based on EKN.ca rankings. Emily placed 3rd in the Rotax Challenge Western Canadian Championship series. Emily has been racing in Canada for the Overdrive Motorsports Scuderia PCR and in the US for Tony Kart West team.
ABRS Grad dominates Western Canadian Open Wheel Series
Blair Robertshaw, graduate of the ABRS 2-day Formula Car program wins WCMA Provincial title for the second straight year. Unlike 2008 where Blair won both the Provincial and Regional WCMA Championships, this year participating in only three of the four series events in Calgary at Race City resulting in eligibility only for the Provincial Championship. Racing in three race weekends versus other competitors four and five race weekends still managed to score the most points in the overall series championships.
Young ABRS Grad makes impact in Eastern Canadian Formula Ford Championship
16-year-old Stefan Rzadzinski rounded off the 2009 Ontario Formula Ford Challenge at Mosport International Raceway on September 18-20 in. Following a double podium his last weekend in August, while running on a tight budget. Rzadzinski fearlessly challenged seasoned competitors all season, earning numerous pole positions and victories along the way, clinching the Championship Runner-Up position and the Rookie of the Year title and respect from his peers.
ABRS Grad Represents Canada in World Karting Championships
19-year-old ABRS Karting and Formula Car grad Kyle Stevens of Edmonton, clinched First Place in the 2009 DD2 / Rotax MAX Challenge - Western Canadian Championship Series and is awarded a position on Team Canada for the 2009 Rotax MAX Challenge World Grand Finals taking place in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt for the week of December 5 to 12, 2009. Kyle also won First Place over all in the Stratotech Park Wednesday Night Series. Kyle also received 3 awards at the Legend Cars of Alberta banquet for Most Improved Semi-Pro Driver, Semi-Pro Rookie of the Year Honors and the First Place in the EIR Northern Point Series.

ABRS grads Adam Gilbert and Kyle Stevens finish first and second respectively in the hotly contested Semi Pro division of the MAC's Cup Legend, run across Western Canada.
